Context
Publishers running Google AdX lose their account if invalid traffic reaches the exchange. AdXGuard sits in front of that: it validates traffic against MRC guidelines and flags policy risk before it costs anyone their inventory.
My role
Frontend developer. Built the interface for a Google AdX protection tool — invalid-traffic detection, alert rules, partner management, multi-admin roles and a ticketing system.
The hard part
The API was another developer's. My brief was the portal, with one constraint that shaped everything: nothing readable may leave the server. The production bundle is obfuscated at the webpack stage so the source cannot be lifted from the browser, and the API returns its responses encrypted, so the React app decrypts every payload on the client before it renders anything. The usual shortcut of opening the network tab and reading the JSON does not exist here. I kept it to plain React and a hand-written webpack config rather than a framework, because the build pipeline had to stay small enough to control end to end.
Outcome
Shipped and in production as the customer-facing portal for the AdXGuard service.
